"This was a fabulous experience from beginning to end. It is difficult to get reservations because it is such a small venue. The artists were amazing. The food was very good. The service was outstanding. I can't say enough good things about it. We would absolutely come back anytime, we are in the area! A great experience. I highly recommend it!"

"The absolute highlight of our Nashville trip! We were lucky enough to catch "A Special Evening with John Scott Sherrill, Scotty Emerick & Shawn Camp" last night, and it was an unforgettable experience. We sat at Table 8, right in front of the stage, which made a legendary venue feel incredibly intimate. It honestly felt like these guys were sitting right in our own living room playing music just for us. Not only are they all amazing songwriters and excellent musicians, but it was also truly special to see the respect and admiration Scotty and Shawn showed toward John Scott Sherrill. If you want a genuine, world-class Nashville music experience, this is it. Easily the best thing we did during our time in the city!"

"We were visiting a friend in Nashville and we love Taylor Swift, so we decided to go to the Bluebird Cafe for open mic night. It was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious! They have a small menu, but it is all top notch. Some advice: If you go on open mic nights it is first come first serve. Get there and hour before the doors open and form a line. They let 60 to 70 people in for the show. There is a gravel lot behind the building with plenty of parking. For food I suggest the chicken pot pie. It was homemade and had the best puffed pastry on the top. The warm brie was a fantastic starter. This is a must do while in Nashville."

"We were there to see country music legend Connie Smith Thanksgiving week 2025. Her husband, Marty Stuart, was also there sitting in the corner like a loving dutiful husband, with that HAIR.❤️ 😍🥰 We could not get tickets, so we stood in a separate line for first available and, maybe because it was a Tuesday night, everyone in line got to come in. Unfortunately where we had to sit was on bar stools at the far end of the bar with obstructed views. My legs fell asleep after an hour on that stool and I had to stand. The poor guy who came in after us had to sit all the way on the very end and couldn't even see the stage, so we took pictures and sent them to him. He was a good sport and we left with a new friend! We met some GREAT folks while we were standing in line, and that was almost as enjoyable as the show! It's a VERY cozy venue, they only have seating for 90 people, and there's supposed to be a minimum purchase of $12 food or drink, which they did not make us do, perhaps because we were one of the last ones in the door. 🤷‍♀️ We also saved $7 each by paying at door, so it only cost us $20 each to get in when tickets were a minimum of $27. They also prefer cash over card, if you can swing that at the door! I would recommend visiting the Bluebird Cafe over ANY of the flashy bars on Broadway every day of the week! ❤️❤️❤️🥰"

"What an iconic place. We went for song writers night for the 6:00pm show. It is very small, so get your tickets early. They fill up and sell out fast. The staff is amazing and know what they are doing. The drinks were good and expensive with a $15 minimum per person. A drink is $13.50 each, so you need to drink two. We didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food. If you are a tightwad and or a talker, please don't go. We are all their to listen to the music, NOT the next table neighbors. You're most likely going to sit with other people at your table unless you can fill an entire table. If this bothers you, please don't go. I highly recommend this place. I will return again and again. 2 thumbs 👍 up!"
